Advocacy

We are the Voice of Business

Get Involved

Advocacy is the art of public support for a recommendation of a particular cause or policy. The St. Albert and District Chamber of Commerce through the Policy Committee champion the causes and concerns of business at all levels of government with a united voice.

Do you have an issue affecting your business that is municipal, provincial, or federal in nature? Submit it to the Chamber Policy Committee through our online Submission Form.

Municipal Advocacy

Local business is impacted by municipal issues. A strong relationship with the City of St. Albert allows for collaboration and ensures the voice of business is heard during discussions related to the future of our city.

Provincial Advocacy

The Chamber is part of the Alberta Chambers of Commerce, ACC, and participates in the annual Provincial Conference and Policy Session. Frequent collaborations with other chambers allows our business community to speak together from all corners of Alberta on issues that affect business at a provincial level.

Federal Advocacy

The Chamber is also part of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and participates on an annual basis at the annual conference and policy forum where policies are submitted by chambers of commerce throughout Canada dealing with Federal issues that affect business. This national group ensures the voice of business is heard in Federal government.
